The process and ranking
Chaired by Lesley Sloss, IEACCC

14:00

Emission estimates, using the iPOG
Wojciech Jozewicz, AEA, USA

Wojciech will provide a guide to how to use the free iPOG calculation tool to estimate mercury emissions from coal-fired power plants and will explain how we used the tool to create an estimate of emissions for the Indonesian coal fleet on a unit by unit basis

14:40

The ranking results
Lesley Sloss, IEACCC

Lesley will provide a summary of the estimated emissions from the Indonesian coal fleet, identifying those plants which may lead to the greatest amount of emissions over their remaining operating lifetime

15:20

Selecting 3 plants for focus
Lesley Sloss, IEACCC
Wojiech Jozewicz – AEA, USA

Lesley will summarise the details of the 3 coal plants/units selected for further study with the aim of creating a catalogue of options for emission reductions at these sites. Lesley and Wojiech will be open to answer questions on the plant selection process. However, discussion on the mechanism for project proposals will be discussed on Day 3.
