About this webinar
The global coal power generation capacity has been expanding since the Paris Accord was reached in 2015. Coal will remain a critical source for electricity production until 2050 or beyond, especially in Southeast Asia and parts of Africa. Therefore, decarbonising coal power generation is vital to meet global climate goals. Cabon capture is central to the least-cost pathways to net zero emissions. In this webinar, technologies for improving the operational flexibility of conventional coal power plants will be reviewed and measures to flexibilise the operation of CO2 capture systems explored.
