
Principal Associate
Greg has over 30-years’ experience in the energy related industry with specialist knowledge in clean energy systems. An independent energy consultant, his activities include being a Principal Associate to the ICSC, Visiting Professor in Low Carbon Energy Systems at the University of Sheffield’s Chemical and Biological Engineering Department funded through the Royal Academy of Engineering, Vice-Chairman of the Institute of Chemical Engineers Clean Energy Special Interest Group and an independent expert for a number of Innovate UK’s funding competitions as well as being a registered Monitoring Officer with Innovate UK.
His previous industrial experience was primarily with the power equipment and infrastructure companies of General Electric and Alstom where he worked on a wide range of technology programmes including fuel flexible gas turbines to burn syngas and hydrogen, carbon capture systems, stationary power fuel cells and renewable power generation.
A graduate of the University of Leeds, Greg has a master’s degree in chemical engineering and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
