Power plant profile: TW Biomass Energy Power Plant, South Korea

TW Biomass Energy Power Plant is a 25MW biopower project. It is planned in South Jeolla, South Korea. Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by GS EPS and LG Chem. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively. TW Biomass Energy Power Plant is a combined heat and power (CHP) project. Wood waste which is a kind of wood by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

Development status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in November 2026.

Contractors involved
Daelim Engineering is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the biopower project. Sumitomo SHI FW Energia is likely to be the supplier of the steam boiler for the project.
